Can I search a whole metro area instead of one airport?
Yes. Pick a metro — the San Francisco Bay Area (SFO, OAK, SJC), New York City (JFK, EWR, LGA), Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., London, Tokyo, and 20+ others — and the checker searches every airport in it at once, then shows whichever gets you out soonest. Each result shows the specific airport it departs from, and single airports still work if you want to pin one.

What if nothing shows up?
If no flights match the default filters, the tool offers to relax them one at a time — allow 2+ stops, allow longer itineraries, or allow basic economy — or drop all filters at once to widen the search. You can also change cabin or remove the price cap.
